 Chicken Tamale Pie

First of all, look at these beautiful pictures! They are just gorgeous. I have had my eye on this recipe for about a month now and couldn't wait any longer to post it. It looks amazing and soooo good.

It has a five star rating. 15 minutes of prep time and you are done. I am going to make this masterpiece today and I will have to add some Avocados and Sour Cream on the side for good measure.

I found this great recipe on Pinch of Yum ( I love that name). Love her site. Meet Lindsay below.

Mini Bisquick Quiches with Bacon, Onion and Cheese

Mini Bisquick Quiches with Bacon, Onion and Cheese

It is definitely a full moon tonight! I got my camera out and took the best picture I could with the camera I have. We tried out our new firewood we had delivered this morning with a fire tonight. Beautiful evening.

While I was searching for "that recipe" I kept leaning towards soup until I saw these. These are so easy to make and I LOVE little bites that are made in mini muffin tins. You can make this in a regular dish if you want to as well.

My kids are going to love these. I can serve them with some scrambled eggs on the side. Excellent recipe.

I found this recipe on Care's Kitchen. Beautiful site, love her pictures and her recipes.

I am making these for breakfast in the morning. YUMMY!

Cheesy BBQ Chicken Bacon Sandwiches

Slow Cooker Cheesy BBQ Chicken Bacon Sandwiches

Winter is starting to become a reality. We just had a cord of FIREWOOD delivered this morning for the winter. Kind of exciting but not quite ready yet for Mother Natures fury. My first winter in WY was a mild one and this year is suppose to be much worse. You just never know what you are going to get. I do know that  I will never have a house without a wood fireplace. They are so warm and comforting.

Now back to the yummy food.

I am so excited about this recipe. Doesn't it look delicious? I love every ingredient in this and so does my family.  Anytime I can find a family favorite I am super happy. PLUS, my husband can make this with no problem which helps a lot while I am working.

Super easy to make.
I found this recipe on Six Sisters Stuff  You have probably seen there blog before but if you haven't you are in for a treat. They have some wonderful recipes. Darling blog and I am a frequent follower of them. Love it.

Real Milk Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

 Pictures by Comfortably Domestic

Real Milk Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

Can you just imagine what this taste like! I have had this before on a cake that a lady brought to work. It was her birthday, she had her eye on this huge beautiful Chocolate Cake with Milk Chocolate Buttercream Frosting on it that was unbelievable! It cost $30.00 for that cake and it was worth every penny and melted in your mouth.

This recipe can be used for so many things! Cakes, cupcakes, tops of graham crackers for an afternoon snack, sandwhich cookies, etc. Oh the possibilities.....This one is a keeper.

Enjoy!

You HAVE to share with me if you make this! I want to hear what you use this for and how you liked it and any other ideas you might have...

THE Best Cracker Candy Toffee

 Pictures by A Southern Grace

Cracker Candy Toffee

Me and this Cracker Candy Toffee have a long history. My Aunt Sue has made this for my family every year for Christmas for at least 10 years now. Whenever she sends it in the mail we fight over the box and then I always take some and hide it. I found the same recipe she uses on A Southern Grace. This is exactly the same and I PROMISE YOU that it is outstanding and you love it. It really is so good.

This is a great gift to package up for the Holidays. I look forward to it every year. Read the comments, you will see how much everyone loves it.

Minestrone Soup with Garlic Bread

 Pictures by Iowa Girl Eats

 Minestrone Soup with Garlic Bread

Here in Wyoming, we FINALLY got some down pour of rain the last couple of days. Thunder and lightning storms that I love. We really needed the water. On top of that it was cold so the first thing that came to my mind was a warm cup of soup. I couldn't wait to get home and get some comfortable clothes on and warm up!

I found this delicious recipe on Iowa Girl Eats.
Perfect meal for those cold nights.

This blog has step by step instructions with pictures to make this soup and also a great recipe for garlic bread. Enjoy!

Cookie Sticks

 Pictures by My Baking Addiction

Cookie Sticks

I don't bake much in the Summer and I am really looking forward to the baking season that is coming up with Fall and the Holidays. I try to post things on this blog that aren't to difficult and time consuming.  If you are a beginner cook or just don't have enough time on your hands (like me), I hope you enjoy these recipes and will share with us if you make them.

If you are new to cooking don't be afraid. If you mess up let me know and I will help you figure out what you did wrong. Cooking is wonderful therapy and it is such a wonderful feeling when you get the feedback of how much they love it. I love sharing these recipes with you and I hope you enjoy them as much.

I found these great little Cookie Sticks on My Baking Addiction. I absolutely love her blog. Wonderful recipes, great theme and colors and even has blogging 101 if you are interested in doing a blog.

I love the sticks, they are not your average round cookie and just makes it funner to eat. The kids always like something just a little different.

Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

 Pictures by Chef Mommy

 Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

It took me forever to find this recipe! I had seen something like it before and went on the hunt to find it. There are a millions of desserts and pumpkin recipes out right now because of the holidays so it took a while to find what I was looking for.

When I saw it I knew this was the one and the one that my family will love.

I wanted to do an easy dinner and not a dessert tonight. I finally found it and I love the ingredients and the reviews and comments are great.

I found this recipe on Chef Mommy

You can make this your own by adding other ingredients. I would add a small amount of sour cream, Cilantro and maybe a few sliced avocados. SO TASTY! Enjoy!

Soft Almond Sugar Cookies

 Soft Almond Sugar Cookies

I am very excited about this recipe I found. I LOVE Almond Cookies and I am even more excited that they are soft and not the crunchy ones. The ingredients are VERY simple and they are easy to make. I can just taste that Sugar in the Raw in that first bite!

The reviews in the comments are outstanding where people have made them and they were a huge hit. Great for any occasion.

I found these delicious cookies on......

Cheddar Ranch Cheese Spread

Picture by So, How's It Taste

Cheddar Ranch Cheese Spread

This is my kind of food! I would prefer to have crackers and cheese spread over sweets any day of the week. Salt and butter is also my weakness. One of the comments on her site said they added in real cooked bacon bits, I would just put one piece on top. I also LOVE Triscuits but this spread would work with about any cracker. Roasted Garlic Triscuits are by far my favorite!

I found the recipe on So, How's It Taste?  I love her site and the recipes that she does.

Once I spotted it I know right away I was going to love it.  It is also good for an after school snack, appetizer or just plain comfort food. We all need that sometimes.

This will be a regular go to snack in our house. I hope you enjoy it.
