Surviving Allergy Season Naturally

Surviving Allergy Season Naturally

It's that time of year again and I know I am not the only one suffering from Allergies. I honestly have one of the loudest sneezes known to man. I startle everyone around me and there is no warning about three or four times. I inherited this from my Dad and once this starts then come the itchy eyes, the stuffy and runny nose, itchy face, sore eyes, red eyes and more......Blah!

This is a miserable way to live with all the beauty that surrounds us right now.

When these little guys start flying I am done! I have to put myself in a bubble and stay inside. Miserable!

Now I have finally found relief NATURALLY!  Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint create a natural antihistamine that does not make you drowsy and gives you all the extra benefits of these oils.  You can apply these to the bottom of feet but the benefit of taking this internally in my opinion is much better.

Benefits of Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint

This spiffy little tin comes with Spark Naturals Essential Oils Four Pack. This tin comes with a 5ml bottle of Lemon, Lavender and Peppermint plus Melaleuca. I take the Melaleuca out and save it for when I need to make "The Bomb" (a must have for when you get sick) then replace it with empty capsules and a dropper. I keep this with me in my purse for whenever the allergies decide to strike. Life saving!

When symptoms start I grab an empty capsule (size "0" and using the dropper I add 3 drops of all three oils into the capsule and drink with water. It's natural, I don't get tired and I am getting the benefit for many other things. I have it right with me when I need it.

Where can you purchase Certified Pure PharmaGrade Essential Oils? I highly recommend Spark Naturals. Not a MLM Company and is affordable! They offer 5ml and 15ml bottles along with the great Essential Oil Four Pack. There is no need to pay high prices for Essential Oils when there is an affordable option.

Use the code JEDDY and get an additional 10% off.

Treat yourself to this pack. This are great oils to start your Essential Oil journey.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I am allergic to dust and mold, but my poor husband is allergic to everything! He can't seem to catch a break in any season. He currently has a sinus infection and is on nose spray, an inhaler, sinus meds, and antibiotics. Nothing ever seems to work. I'd love for him to try something more natural!

    1. I have severe asthma and allergies (among several other ailments). They were under control for a few years, but not any more. The last few years in early May it starts with a tickle in the back of my throat and ends with a cough so bad I have fractured ribs, and a lung infection. I am waiting for the Dr.'s office to call right now.... I recently started using EO's from Spark Naturals and following Camp Wander. I have started using LLP on my feet and in a diffuser, but I never thought about taking them internally. I'd love to win the 4-pack (I love to win anything :). Apparently I am going to be going through those 4 EO's like crazy!!

  3. I have allergies that I deal with all year around. I am allergic to dust, mold, mildew. Several trees, so spring time is a disaster with all of the pollen that I am allergic to from the trees and flowers and some grasses. I have to take a regular allergy medication and I also have an inhaler that goes with my asthma which is also affected by my allergies. I have been using lemon and lavender on my feet, the peppermint has a tendency to make me shiver because it drops my body temp, therefore I take it in a shot glass of water.

She gets relief within 10 minutes. I also use llp in a rollerball during the school year so she can rub if in and treat herself.

When everything dries out then I'm in for it. I LOVE LLP. I do however have chronic sinus issues and when I've got a stuffy nose and can't breathe I crank up the diffuser with LLP and I can breathe again in a matter of seconds. I love this combo!!!

I have been staying covered and carry an umbrella with me in case i'm somewhere i cannot seek shade to hide from the rays. Fainting spells, incredibly itchy rashes, the works and the only thing I have found to help is to simply keep out of the sun.
I am very interested in essential oils and believe they would help health in every way. It would be interesting to see how this works with a sun allergy, hopefully keep the rash down some or the itch away
my boyfriend is allergic to poison ivy (aren't we all? I don't seem to react to it) he reacts if the wind blows and it carries the pollen to him. and his workplace is on the outskirts of town so the probability of there being p.ivy on the property is high.

  131. I just love the LLP combo!!! When you diffuse them they smell wonderful and they immediately open up the sinuses. If I start having a sneezing attack...it will stop it in a matter of seconds.

  136. One of my very skeptical neighbors allowed me to rub these oils on his neck. He doesn't like pills, capsules, etc. Didn't want to swallow the oils in water. GRRRRR. But he did allow me rub on back of neck and guess what? His allergies didn't bother him for the whole afternoon!!

  142. My Name is Lori Patrick and I have to use the anonymous comment as I don't have any of these accounts. I am very sensitive to most synthetic drugs and am only able to find one OTC drug that helps me with no horrible side effects. If not kept in check the allergies I get turn to sinus infections. But since I am on the road to a happier, longer, healthier life thanks to the availability of essential oils, I am so wanting to try these out so I do not have to use any more synthetic solutions! Thanks Spark Naturals for offering affordable quality products, and thank you Jillie, Dora, and Rebecca for getting your knowledge and information out to all of us who are sick and tired both literally and figuratively of the harmful products the drug companies want to push on us. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win these great oils!!!!

  143. It's the itchy nose that bothers me the most. That and the constant tickle in my ears. But I cannot complain about allergies when I look at my husband and my daughters who suffer more with drainage, sneezing, watery eyes and asthma.

  147. Ugh! I have allergies year-round. I've been on two rounds of allergy shots over the past 10 years and now rely mainly on Allegra. I would love to use essential oils to control them!
