Garlic Parmesan Low Carb Cheese Snack
Eating low carb is not hard! If I was on an island and had one thing to eat and it was only Cheese I would be happy. I never made it on a diet that didn't allow Cheese. My new way of eating low carb makes life much easier.
These Cheese Snacks are a favorite in our house with the whole family. The kids love them. I make sure that I always have some on hand. When I know that I am going to be out for a while I take some in my purse in case I get hungry.
You can take this same recipe and use it for taco shells, etc. Super easy to make.
Whenever shredded cheese goes on sale I stock up, especially on the big bags.
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Spray Pam (Olive Oil) on sheet so the cheese doesn't stick.
Layer shredded cheese on the baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
When you take it out of the oven turn the pan so the grease runs out of the corner and drain. The cheese should not move when you tilt the pan, if it does it isn't ready. Top with Garlic Salt, Pepper and Parmesan Cheese.
Let cool and scrape all around the sides and corners. Use a spatula as you go to help pull it up by scraping underneath it.
Using a pizza cutter cut in half.
Using one half make one inch slices and then turn the other way and roll it for small squares.
