Game Day Spinach Dip
College Football has always been a big deal in our house. I was born and raised a loyal BYU fan. I planned my wedding date on a weekend that they weren't playing. Today is the BIG rivalry game between BYU and UTAH. While I am sporting my BYU jersey and cheering on my Cougars I wanted to share this delicious recipe.
Big games, great food and time with family have created great memories and now I get to created new ones with my own kids. Today I wanted to make Spinach Dip. This is by far the best Spinach Dip recipe that I have found, it is easy to make, packed with flavor and a great appetizer.
If you are ever asked to bring an appetizer or want to bring something to work to share, try this. People love it, they will want the recipe and it is always gone.
You can use crackers or broken bread from a bread bowl.
Fall weather is here and I am in the mood to get in the kitchen again and start cooking. This will be one of many new recipes to come! Enjoy.
Game Day Spinach Dip
Ingredients
1 packet of Knorr Vegetable Soup
1 pint of sour cream (16 oz)
1 cup of mayo
3 green onions sliced
1 small can of water chestnuts chopped
1 box of frozen chopped, cooked and drained spinach
Directions
Thaw out the frozen spinach, drain all the water and squeeze any liquid out of it. I use a paper towel after to get any excess left. Chop up the onions and the water chestnuts. In a medium size bowl combine all the ingredients and let sit in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours. Make sure it is mixed together really well. Mix up before serving.

ReplyDeleteHey sounds like a great recipe but on the ingredients it says
ReplyDelete"1 box of frozen chopped, cooked and drained"
