Grilled Honey Garlic Pork Chops
I have done quite a few chicken recipes lately and wanted to try something different.
I made these delicious pork chops for my husband for Father's Day on the George Foreman Grill. They are thin boneless Pork Chops and I cut each long piece into 3 smaller pieces and marinated them for about 4 hours. The longer you marinate them the better they will taste. I served them with vegetables and rice. He LOVED it. I ate leftovers for lunch and they were soooo goooood. You don't have to grill these, you could bake them or cook them in a pan.
Ingredients
1/4 cup of Honey
5 tablespoons of minced garlic
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
6 pork sirloin chops, boneless
Directions
Mix honey, garlic and soy sauce together until blended well. Wash the pork chops and cut into smaller pieces about 3 inches long. In a flat dish put in the chicken and marinade for at least 4 hours. Save some of the juice for basting while you cook. Grill until nice and brown on both sides and no longer pink in the middle. They are thin so they don't take very long to cook. Serve with rice and grilled vegetables.
I hope you will give these a try. They are quick and easy and a nice change from Chicken and Steak.
Thanks for stopping by!
Dori
Hi Dori, I plan to make these this week, but I was hoping you could tell me how many pork chops (or pounds I guess) you used per recipe of the marinade. I don't want to skimp on flavor, but I don't want to use up too much of the marinade ingredients if I don't need to. Was this recipe enough to marinate that entire package??? Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteoh my word. I just saw the number at the bottom of the recipe! Sorry...I was looking for it at the top.
