Doritos Layered Taco Salad with Taco Ranch Dressing

Doritos Layered Taco Salad with Taco Ranch Dressing

"This meal was the best meal you have made in a long time" was the words my kids said when they tasted this. Kids are so honest. It was a huge hit, super easy to make and fast. It only takes as long as it takes to cook the ground beef. It was delicious! My pickiest eater went back two more times. It is a true miracle when that happens.

I had to refrain from loading up a second plate. I promise you will not be disappointed. The Crunchy Taco Doritos are a must! If you haven't tried them yet they are perfect for this dish.

Ingredients

1 lb. of lean ground beef
1 package of taco seasoning
1 small bag of mexican cheese
1 package of Hidden Valley Ranch (prepared per package directions with milk and mayonnaise)
1 Bag of Crunchy Taco Doritos
Pico De Gallo (bought or homemade)
1large bunch of romaine lettuce

Directions

Season your ground beef with half a package of Taco Seasoning and save the other half for the dressing.  I also season the meat with kosher salt, pepper, Lawry's and garlic salt. Cook meat until done and drain the grease. While the meat is cooking you can start thinly slicing the romaine lettuce and then chopping it. Layer the bottom of a large flat dish with crushed Doritos, add the lettuce, add the Pico De Gallo (I bought already made Pico), after the meat has cooled just a little bit add that on and then add the cheese. Top with a little more lettuce, Pico and Cheese and some crushed Doritos around the edges. Put a couple dollops of sour cream and top with Cilantro.

Add the rest of the taco seasoning to the ranch dressing mix. Take a big scoop out onto a plate and top with the dressing, pepper and cilantro. Enjoy!

Now take a nice big scoop and add some Taco Ranch Dressing.

This was so easy and quick to make. You will have a delicious meal that the whole family will love.

Thanks for stopping by!

Dori
